I was born in Zagreb, Croatia but fell in love and married a Slovenian girl in 2007 and moved to Slovenia, where we live now, together with our daughter and a chihuahua dog. Even though I finished the University of Economics in Zagreb (Department of Informatics), I have always been fascinated by computers and technology, so with the rise of the Web and web development, I jumped on board and started to create my first HTML-driven websites. At an early stage of my self-training to become a web-developer, I started using WordPress as the CMS of my choice and I made a very good choice. After years of freelancing and working for a renowned Slovenian marketing agency as the main web developer, I got the opportunity to work with OnTheGoSystems, company behind one of my all-time favorite plugins Types and WPML. And this is where I happily am now. I am now a documentation manager for all the company’s projects. I also organize and lead usability testing sessions for our plugins. Working with OnTheGoSystems connected me ever more with the WordPress community and allowed me to start attending WordCamps – and of course speaking at them. I was very lucky to have been chosen on some of them already and every new WordCamp I attend fills me with further ideas, energy, and motivation. Besides WordPress and web, I am a musician with my own musical project Helika.
