Another announcement from the WCBGD desk: WordCamp Belgrade 2026 welcomes three more speakers.
This time, we are introducing Atanas Yonkov, Remkus de Vries and Mladen Đurić – three names bringing experience in WordPress theme and plugin development, technical strategy, education, performance, website maintenance and long-standing community work.
The full schedule is coming soon. Until then, here are more details about this new group of speakers.
Atanas Yonkov

Atanas Yonkov is a senior software engineer and web consultant. He has participated in the development and maintenance of popular international websites with millions of monthly visitors, including New Statesman and Investment Monitor.
He is the Founder and CEO of Nasio Themes, a digital agency specializing in the development of themes and plugins for WordPress. He has also been a volunteer, organizer and speaker at WordCamp conferences in Bulgaria and abroad.
Remkus de Vries

Remkus de Vries helps WordPress professionals become better at their craft. He is the founder of Within WordPress, where The Guild brings together developers, builders, freelancers and agencies who want to keep learning long after they have mastered the basics.
That mission is supported by practical courses, a weekly newsletter, a podcast and educational videos.
Alongside Within WordPress, Remkus co-founded Scanfully, a platform that helps site owners monitor the health and performance of their WordPress websites. He also regularly advises companies across the WordPress ecosystem on performance, security, scalability and technical strategy.
Mladen Đurić

Mladen Đurić, also known as MacMladen, is a senior developer and architect with more than two decades of experience building for the web. His computing story starts with assembly on 8-bit machines, while today he builds client solutions from Novi Sad using WordPress and Drupal, alongside modern technologies such as Astro, Next.js, and React Native.
Mladen is a right-tool-for-the-job pragmatist, committed to performance, sustainability and the UNIX principle of eliminating everything that is not necessary.
He organizes meetups, workshops, and conferences and is active in the IT community across WordPress, Drupal, JavaScript, AI, and other areas.
