There’s a new way to build WordPress dashboard pages, using React and modern tooling alongside the classic PHP-rendered admin UI. In this workshop, we’ll build a real dashboard page live, from start to finish, so you walk away with a practical pattern you can apply directly to your own plugins and themes.

– A modern alternative to the classic PHP admin approach: React, Gutenberg’s component and data packages, and the WP REST API
– How to structure dashboard UI with React components, including the new `DataForm` component
– How to fetch and update data via the WP REST API
– A complete, reusable pattern for your own dashboard pages
